The motors’ maximum allowable temperature is 145°C. Maximum temperature is related to environmental conditions, dissipated power in the motor and Thermal Resistance. Thermal Resistance varies motor to motor and can be found in our datasheets on the product pages. In general, smaller diameter motors have larger Rth values than larger diameter motors.
