Zettlex’s IncOder pipped in to second place in a fierce contest
The 2010 British Engineering Excellence Awards was held on 14th October at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. The awards ceremony was hosted by TV presenter Kate Bellingham and was recorded for a BBC Radio 4 programme about UK innovation.
Zettlex’s IncOder range of products was short-listed as a finalist for Best Product category.
Unfortunately, IncOder was pipped in to second place by a range of state of the art microprocessors developed over a 5 year, £50M, multi-national collaboration by a large US corporation about 1 thousand times larger than Zettlex.
Zettlex General Manager commented “Well Gary – at the end of the day – the boys did brilliant – but we couldn’t seem to put the ball in the back of the net. I’m sick as a parrot at not winning – but over the moon at being a finalist”.
