Zettlex is pleased to announce that all production staff, including production engineers, have been fully trained and re-validated for IPC-A-610 Certification.
Introduced in 1957, IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries is a global trade association that represents all facets of the industry including design, printed board manufacturing and electronics assembly and test.
IPC-A-610 Certification is viewed as the industry standard for quality, and the training programme includes soldering, hardware installation, surface mount and through hole assembly, wire assembly and inspection.
John Parsons, Zettlex Operations Manager, comments: “Quality is an integral part of the culture at Zettlex and has helped to ensure that our design and manufacturing capabilities are industry leading. To remain at this level, we appreciate the important role that training and certification, such as IPC-610 and J STD 001, plays.”
