What is already a record breaking year for Zettlex has continued with Q3 2015 sales being the highest since the company’s inception in 2004.
Zettlex has achieved accelerated growth over the last 12 months, which has been driven by strong exports, particularly in the Far East and North America.
“It’s encouraging to see our plans coming to fruition and we expect the momentum of growth to continue over the next 12 months. 80% of revenue is from export and we anticipate to see this rise as a number of projects transition from pilot quantities in to full-scale production” – comments Mark Howard, Managing Director.
Dr Darran Kreit, Technical Manager, believes that sustained investment in R&D has contributed to this success, commenting: “We reinvest a much higher percentage of our revenue than the industry average in the development of new technologies and products. This helps to ensure that we are able to meet the diverse needs of our customers around the world.”
In line with the growth, Zettlex has appointed two new members of staff, with Josef de Pfeiffer as Marketing Manager and April Copeland as Assembly Technician. Joining from KISS Communications, where he held a management position on a number of high profile technology accounts, Josef will be responsible for the marketing and communications at Zettlex. Highly experienced in surface mount electronics, April joins to assist with the production of prototype new sensor designs.
Mark Howard, Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Josef and April to the team at an exciting time for us. As we expand it is important that we continue to grow our skills and experience.”
