Cambridge sensors company, Zettlex, is proud to be a partner of the 2017 Rural Business Awards (RBAs). Launched in 2015, the RBAs recognise businesses that operate across the Rural sector and their vital contribution to the UK economy. There are 13 awards categories for 2017 including Best Manufacturing Business and Best Rural Innovation.
Dr. Darran Kreit, Zettlex Technical Manager comments: “We are delighted to partner with the Rural Business Awards as it moves into its third year. Our rural location is both a pleasure and a real asset to our business. Our offices are within characterful and spacious grounds which provide idyllic surroundings and a great working environment. There’s plenty of space for our technology and manufacturing facilities. We are a short distance from Cambridge City but sufficiently out of the way that we don’t have to contend with rush hour traffic. We are encouraging all rural businesses – big or small – to consider entering the RBAs this year.”
Anna Price, Rural Business Awards Co-Founder comments: “We are incredibly proud that Zettlex have decided to partner with the Rural Business Awards for the 2017 Programme. They have been with us from the beginning of our journey – as an inaugural winner of the Manufacturing category in 2015. A shinning example of the type of manufacturing business that can thrive in a rural location – a world-class, technical manufacturer with rural spirit. We are thrilled that Zettlex have the belief in us and our mission and will join us to encourage other manufacturing businesses to seek the recognition they deserve via the RBAs.”
