As a major new advancement in MicroE's encoder technology, MicroE will be introducing the new Veratus™ Series Encoders into its Compact encoder range. Built using the company's new VeraPath™ technology, Veratus delivers the reliability, signal stability, and dirt immunity required in precision industrial applications in the smallest package size in its class. All interpolation, AGC, and signal processing is performed in the sensor head that is only 35 x 13.5 x 10 mm. Interpolation in the sensor head provides resolution from 5μm to 20nm for linear applications, with speeds up to 5m/s. Veratus features multiple mounting configurations, industry standard analog and digital incremental encoder outputs, built-in limits, flexible index selection, and status LED in the sensor head. With automatic calibration, Veratus has a true plug-and-go setup.
The new Optira™ Series Encoders enhances MicroE's Nano encoders range. Optira is the only encoder in its size class that offers up to 5 nm resolution with all interpolation, AGC, and signal processing performed in the sensor head. Patented PurePrecision™ optical technology and industry-leading alignment tolerances from MicroE make Optira's miniature sensor head extremely easy to install. Optira's three mounting options, industry standard analog and digital incremental encoder outputs, and standard FFC connector provide the durability and flexibility needed by designers of miniature precision motion control systems. Optira is engineered to deliver industry-leading low power consumption, with an available 3.3 VDC version ideal for battery-powered precision instruments.
