Does Everest XCR, Everest NET, Capitan XCR, and Capitan NET shunt only become active when the motor is ‘braking’ or is it always active?

The shunt output (that can be configured by registers) can be mapped to a GPO and depends only on the value of the DC bus voltage. It has no intelligence, just a voltage comparator. The Everest XCR, Everest NET, Capitan XCR, and Capitan NET do not have a shunt transistor embedded.
