What is the difference between standard and extended range?

Extended Range has a larger operating envelope than the Standard IncOder Range. The Extended Range incorporates various additional or alternative features to enable it to survive and thrive in more extreme conditions. Such features are sometimes mandatory in hi-rel aerospace applications. For example, the high-pressure option range includes special steps during epoxy encapsulation to ensure all air pockets are avoided.
